The Travelmix tourist booking portal
The website www.travelmix.it is managed by Travelmix Italia T.O., the tour operator partner of Mirabilandia.
Travelmix is a new way to think about a tour operator's way of working. We use mostly the Internet. Thanks to our own development of the latest computer technology we have created a web network of operators of tourist facilities. The offers present in our site are the result of direct partnerships with operators, without agency costs. This makes it possible for Travelmix to present in real time a vast range of accommodation, packages and quality offers at very competitive prices. Real bargains not to be missed! Your holiday booking can also be handled immediately without waiting a long time.
The booking service in the site www.travelmix.it acts as a communication channel between the user and the partner tourist organisations of Travelmix. Booking requests are passed on to the hotels and accommodation by the systems managed by the Travelmix portal. Basically the service offers an effective, simple and safe means of contact between the user and the hotel or accommodation owner. In particular, the user requests the booking with the conditions and prices indicated in the website. Travelmix checks availability with the holiday accommodation requested: if it is fully booked or cannot be booked for reasons beyond the control of Travelmix, alternative periods and accommodation will be suggested.
The client can handle a booking (clarification, modification, cancellation…) by e-mail, fax or telephone. Travelmix confirms the booking with the hotel or accommodation requested by the client by issuing a booking document (voucher), and puts the client in contact with the hotel or accommodation owner. From this moment on the service of Travelmix is considered concluded. There are no further booking fees for our service.
ATTENTION
Travelmix does not assume any responsibility regarding the arrivals after midnight. Hotel/Residence check-in time should be before 12.00 midnight on the day of arrival; if the client is going to arrive after 12.00 midnight he is requested to call and inform directly the Hotel reception staff, because we can not guarantee the hotel will accept your arrival after midnight.
Prices
The prices indicated, unless expressly indicated otherwise, include VAT . The services for each tourist offer are provided in the places indicated in the booking document (voucher).
Thanks to our own development of the latest computer technology we have created a web network of operators of tourist facilities who deal with the offers and bookings directly. This makes it possible for Travelmix to present in real time a vast range of accommodation, packages and quality offers at very competitive prices.
In particular, the offers and the packages present in our site are the result of direct partnerships with operators : this is the reason why Travelmix gets lower prices than the official ones.
Methods of payment
In order to book our tourist offers, the client is required to pay in advance the full amount. Sometimes is required payment of a deposit on the total amount (this case will be clearly explained in the description of the offer). The booking documents (vouchers) will be sent by e-mail or, if required, by fax , after receipt of the payment.
Payments can be made by Credit Card on-line (Visa or MasterCard), with no transaction costs. We guarantee the safety of your Credit Card transactions. Your reservation will be confirmed immediately after you made your transaction.
The payments are collected by Travelmix in the name of and on behalf of the individual hotel or accommodation. All the details for the payment will be explained clearly for each booking. The booking vouchers will be sent to the client after receipt of the payment of the amount required.
The vouchers are valid booking documents for the accommodation or the tickets booked. In the case of payment of a deposit, on arrival the client must pay the entire amount of the holiday to the hotel or accommodation owner.
Right to cancellation and modification
Any cancellations or modifications to bookings must be communicated promptly to Travelmix using the e-mail address info@travelmix.it or the telephone number 0544 560822 and specifying the voucher number (which you will find on the voucher itself) which corresponds to the booking.
Tickets, purchased (for example: Mirabilandia's tickets) separately or included in a package, CAN'T be refunded since they can't be annulled. However, tickets of amusement parks are valid for the whole 2006 opening season: they can be used by the client at any time.
In the case of a complete or partial cancellation (for example: two out of four people are left, reduction in the number of days…) or of a modification of the booking (for example: the following penalties will be applied calculated on the basis of the date on which the cancellation was made. The penalties EXCLUDE the price of eventual tickets included in the package: tickets cost is not refundable and it will be deducted in any case.
1. Bookings with total payment made in advance:
- cancellation more than 20 days before the date of arrival: 20% of the total amount
- cancellation from 20 to 10 days before the date of arrival: 50% of the total amount
- cancellation from 10 to 3 days before the date of arrival: 80% of the total amount
- cancellation within 3 days (72 hours) of the date of arrival: 100% of the total amount
2. Bookings with advance payment of the deposit:
- cancellation more than 20 days before the date of arrival: 20% of the total deposit
- cancellation within 20 days before the date of arrival: 100% of the total deposit
There are no penalties for substitution of individuals booked. Application or reduction of the penalties is entirely at the discretion of Travelmix. Penalties greater than those in the present conditions are not allowed.
Transfer of the booking
The person booking can have him/herself substituted, without payment of any penalty , by a third party who satisfies all the conditions necessary for making use of the service provided that this communicated to the e-mail address info@travelmix.it at least three days before the arrival date, indicating all the personal details of the substituting person. The transferor and the transferee are responsible together for payment of the price and for any supplementary charges that may result from this change in ownership of the booking.
Modifications to the booking by the hotel or accommodation
If the hotel or accommodation should have to change one or more elements of the booking substantially, Travelmix will notify the client immediately by e-mail, telephone or first class mail, indicating the type of the modification and the resulting change in price. The clients are obliged to notify Travelmix of their acceptance or refusal of the change within 2 working days from the moment the notification of change was received: if the proposed change is not accepted the client may withdraw from the agreement without the payment of any penalty. If the client does not reply within 2 working days of the notification of change, the change will be considered accepted.
Claims and liability
Any claims regarding the services provided must be presented to the respective owners of the hotel or accommodation in which the client is staying. Travelmix undertakes to present truthful information on services and tariffs. If there is a discrepancy between the quality of the services described and those actually provided on arrival, the owner of each hotel or accommodation is held liable. As mediator, Travelmix is liable only for correct intermediation for the services requested. In any case it is in the interests of Travelmix to be informed of any lack or inefficiency in the services experienced by the client in the hotel or accommodation, in order to be able to choose partners of a certain qualitative level.
